Eagle (Sara Adams)

Difficulty Level:
Low intermediate
Model type:
Animals
Birds
Paper ratio:
Square

This is my first attempt at designing. I tried to create an eagle in no more than 30 folds that still captures the essence of Hung Cuong Nguyen's eagle (2008).
It is my submission to the design challenge for August 2009, which was about creating a model in up to 30 folds that imitates a highly complex model.

Paper: 20cm square
Model: 12cm long, 17cm wide

Congrats, this is a beautiful design and well-diagrammed! Very modern, too.

Hello Sara-san.
I'm a big fan of yours. I'm from Saudi Arabia.
My name is Banan. And I discovered Origami from the animes I watch.. ^_^
I've seen almost all your videos and I admire what you do and how you do it.
I congrats you for your first design. I wish you the best and keep on.. :)

I downloaded the diagram and I like it. I'll try it soon (in sha'allah )..
Right now I am working on a 8-stage clover folding model, hoping it will work..

Thank you very much for your efforts and btw, I like your website very much.
God bless you..

Banan..
p.s. plz forgive my lame english.

Wow!! I just now folded this model from your diagram, and just wanted to say how impressed I was with the design. I admit I have never attempted designing a model, but this has inspired me to do so. Very nicely done!

I would like to see this panda. If at all possible, could you post a photo or diagrams for it?
