Paper used in this video: 7 or 8 squares with a side length of 7 cm or 2 3/4 in
Finished model:
from 7 squares: diameter of 8.5 cm or 3 3/8 in, depth of 5.5cm or 2 1/8 in
from 8 squares: diameter of 10.5 cm or 4 1/8 in, depth of 1.5cm or 5/8 in
This video describes how to fold a fantastic origami star "Stella Pitti" designed by Francesco Mancini. Francesco kindly gave me permission to make this video accessible to you.
I'm using normal origami paper in this video, but slightly heavier paper works even better. For example, Tant is very suitable. Read more about Tant here: http://www.happyfold...
If you fold the model from 8 squares it can either be slightly 3D or completely flat. If you use 7 squares, then the star is much more 3-dimensional.

I'm probably being stupid, but how do I add subtitles/CC to this video? the option doesn't appear under the settings button.

It's not you
Currently, the menu only shows for videos that have some sort of subtitles already. As this one doesn't have auto-generated ones, the menu's not there. :/
But you can add subtitles here: https://www.youtube....
I've tried adding comments to the videos where the menu's currently hidden, so if you come across another one of these, check the comments section on YouTube - and if I didn't leave a comment, simply let me know and I'll send you the appropriate link - or try it yourself: youtube.com/timedtext_video?v=[video_id]
Thanks for your help!
