What do you do when you buy a new dining table? Of course! Use the paper that protected the wood to fold a tree. And to avoid further questions - no, it was not very suitable for folding.
Initial paper size: 16cm x 27.7cm (approx. 6.3in x 10.9in)
Finished model: 9cm height, 2.5cm diameter of trunk, 9cm max width of palm crown

Variation Idea
I just thought of this when I saw the pattern on the model. Is it possible to create puff stars on the model like the ones by Ralf Konrad?
