When folding an origami model, it's important to start with a sheet of paper that has the right shape. For rectangles, you can express the shape by specifying the ratio between the length and the width of the rectangle.
In this video I explain what paper ratios mean, and how to determine the correct paper size to use, so that you end up with a shape suitable for the origami model.
